Background

Daniel was born in San Francisco and raised in San Leandro. Daniel has been playing soccer since he was seven years old through his club and high school career at California Northstars and Arroyo High School respectively.

As a player and as a coach, the game has provided Daniel a vehicle for skill and personal development.

Reflecting on joining the staff at Magic, Daniel said, "From the moment I arrived at Magic, I was able to see the high level of professionalism that all of my colleagues carry themselves with. As well as their passion to really support the youth and its community through the game of soccer. To them, it's really more than just the game of soccer."

When not coaching, Daniel enjoys playing guitar, singing, and writing songs - as well as a good game of chess!
